FTR Awarded Stadium Design-Build Project at Pierce College
FTR has received formal recognition of award for the multimillion dollar Stadium ADA Improvement project at Los Angeles Pierce College. The project will be the firms second athletic related project on-campus, following the recent completion of the expansive Physical Education Renovation project earlier this year. California Construction Magazine has ranked FTR as the fourth largest Sports and Recreation Contractor in California (April 2010) and the addition of the Stadium ADA Improvement project will add to our growing portfolio in this market.
The Stadium Improvement project is part of the Los Angeles Community College Districts facilities modernization and sustainable building program. Improvement features will include the extensive renovation of stadium facilities, track and field, and American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant access upgrades.
The Stadium Improvement is now the second LACCD design-build project for FTR and Leo A Daly who are currently partnered at West Los Angeles College on the 75 million dollar Watson Center and Teaching and Learning Center facilities.
