FTR short-listed for $70 Million Build-LACCD project at West Los Angeles Campus
FTR has submitted a Step-2 project specific proposal to Los Angeles Community College District for the upcoming West Los Angeles Campus project with an estimated construction cost of $70 Million.
The FTR-Gensler-Leo A Daly team was short-listed along with two other design-build teams under Build-LACCD Categories 3 and 7 relating to Physical Education, Stadiums, and Athletic Field project types.
The proposed project includes a 213,295 gross sq ft Athletic Building and Fitness Center, a 1,000-seat baseball stadium, four tennis courts, two sand volleyball courts, and an NCAA regulation softball field. In addition, a soccer field with terraced seating for 400 and a 25-yard competition pool are included within the scope or work.
This is one of FTR’s first submittals to LACCD’s $3.5 Billion Design-Build Step-2 Program. We are delighted to have been selected to participate in this exciting process. ‘To build a project of this magnitude, to partner with outstanding design firms such as Leo A Daly and Gensler and to have the opportunity to work with LACCD once again is something that we look forward to.’- Lara Paulino, Marketing Specialist.
