Officials unanimously approve $520M San Diego convention center expansion

IRVINE, CA – October 14, 2013

San Diego, CA – Today, the California Coastal Commission voted unanimously in approval of the San Diego Unified Port District Port Master Plan Amendment for the expansion of the San Diego Convention Center and Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel Expansion. The approval stood as the last permitting requirement for the $520 million convention center expansion project to move forward.
